FAQs - From our farm to your skin.
Every jar, bottle, and balm begins here in Wales — powered by the wind, inspired by the seasons, and made with care. Here are answers to our most asked questions.
Are your products handmade?
Absolutely. Every body butter, body oil, bath salt blend, bar soap and lip balm is made by our hands right here in our little studio in Wales. From blending to pouring to labelling, it’s all done with care, intention, and a lot of love.
Are your products 100% organic?
At least 70% of our ingredients are certified organic, everything else is completely natural, our oils are all cold pressed. If it doesn’t come from nature and meet our quality standards, it doesn’t make it into our products. Certified organic ingredients: all of our essential oils, shea butter, cocoa butter, castor oil, glycerine, olive oil, coconut oil and sunflower oil is all organic.
Are your products vegan friendly?
Yes, always. Everything we make is vegan and cruelty free — no animal ingredients, no animal testing, just plant-based goodness.
Where do you source your ingredients?
We grow some right here on our farm, and we source many others from trusted growers in the UK and Ghana. A few come from further afield, and only from suppliers who share our values, including Fairtrade practices and regenerative farming.
Do you actually grow some of your ingredients?
Yes, we do — and it’s one of the parts we’re most proud of. This is our second season on our farm, we've planted a lot more calendula after the success of last years harvest. Our calendula, nettle, mint, rose and lavender now go into some of our favourite creations, our calendula flowers are in every product. We also source damask roses from The Rowan Tree, a fellow regenerative farm in the Gower, Wales. As our fields grow, so will the variety of flowers and herbs we use in our products. It’s a journey we’re excited to keep sharing with you.
Are your products free from chemicals?
Yes — no synthetic chemicals, ever. Just natural and organic ingredients that your skin will recognise and love.
What is your glycerine sourced from?
Our glycerine is 100% vegetable-derived.
Are your products nut free?
We’ve removed all nut ingredients from our range except shea butter, which comes from the nut of the shea tree but is generally considered safe for most people with nut allergies. Please always check the ingredient list for each product before purchasing. Coconut oil is now in our bar soaps.
Do you make an essential oil free butter?
Yes. Our Essential Oil Free Butter is perfect for those who prefer a fragrance-free option or have particularly sensitive skin.
What is the shelf life of your products?
If stored well, they’ll last for years, but we recommend using them within 12 months of opening so you enjoy them at their freshest.
I have sensitive or allergic skin. Will your products suit me?
Everyone’s skin tells its own story, so we always suggest a little patch test first. Many of our customers with sensitive skin — and even conditions like eczema — tell us our products have been gentle and soothing for them. Always check the ingredient list so you know exactly what’s inside.
Can I use your products on my child’s skin?
Yes. Our body butters, oils, bath salts, and lip balms are gentle enough for children, with no harsh chemicals. We recommend reading the ingredient list to be sure it’s right for your child’s skin.
Is your packaging recyclable?
Yes. We use glass bottles, jars, and aluminium lids from a family-run business in Wales, and all of our boxes and wrapping are fully recyclable. We love when our jars and bottles find a second life in your home as storage or vases.
Why don’t you include a paper receipt in my delivery?
We like to keep things light on the planet, so we avoid unnecessary paper. You’ll always receive an email with your order details instead.
Where can I buy your products?
You’ll find us here in our online store, and in a few beautiful shops across the UK.
