Snow, hail, torrential rain, and back to back storms and that was just one day, ha! When you live as close to the coast as we do, you experience the full might of every kind of weather. We can debate climate change another day, but when daffodils begin showing themselves in January and a rose blooms in my mother’s garden in December, it tells us more than we need to know. For now, we allow ourselves to marvel at both the giving and the taking of the Earth. A gentle yet powerful reminder of our significance and our insignificance as earthlings, all at the same time.
We have softly entered 2026 with the intention to go slow, to take our time, and to truly ask ourselves what we want to see and achieve this year. As we plan our farming activities, we reflect on 2025, what worked, what didn't, and where we truly want to go next, so we can show up fully for you and for ourselves.
The results are in, and our aims are simple and clear. Fewer crops, better preparation, and less foundation building. The outcome is higher quality, simpler skincare. That's it!
